Carol is the most knowledgeable real estate expert I’ve ever worked with. She’s a walking encyclopedia about all things real estate and knows Port Townsend like the back of her hand. She’s also incredibly patient - she spent almost a year with us trying to find our home and she never made us feel like we were wasting her time. I recommend her highly.

I had the misfortune to buy my house through Carol, she was my buyer's agent. I have bought and sold 5 properties before this one, and she is the worst agent I had to deal with. She talks non-stop, but very little useful information is provided. Everything is sell sell sell, push push push. I felt like I was just another deal for her to push through and she couldn't care less about me as a client. When I wanted to negotiate on the price of the house I was buying, she was unsupportive and patronizing, I had to insist and my price was accepted. I felt that she never was on my side, purely on her own side in closing the deal as fast as possible. There was a definite taste of shadiness in how she approached her business, I was not comfortable with her ethics. Would not recommend.

We knew the general region of the home we wanted to buy, and we knew we needed to first identify an experienced Realtor. We found just what we needed in Carol Wise. She sized us up and put together an itinerary of three days and 25 houses. She was indefatigable. Taking us around in roughly a 50 mile radius, we visited house after house, and village and town after village and town. She coached us down to three prospects. She knew the market from her base in Port Townsend, and we were the beneficiaries. Can’t say enough about how helpful Carol Wise was. At several levels her experience and knowledge mattered. We were confident in our final offer, and we got just what we were looking for.
